Some September, October & Some November

Our lovely pumpkin patch. We got 9 pumpkins all together. I have been trying to figure out what to do with them all, because Matt and I never made time to carve them. oops! I have painted a few, which you will see, but there are still lots left.
Flash frolicking in the back yard flowers.
Peaches that I got to eat for free and can. Yum!
Leaves changing up in the mountains. I love fall! We went up near snow basin a few times while the leaves changed. So pretty. I even painted while up there in the autumn air. :)
I can't remember if I blogged about this or not, but we have our first dish washer since being married. It's marvelous. Matt's grandpa got it for us.
Our cute flash. I wanted to dress flash up as a bat for Halloween, but I feel like that would be cruel because I know she wouldn't like it. So I made her pose by some pumpkins instead.
The first snow of the year.! I'm pretty sure Matt was very happy about this and I didn't mind it.

Happy Halloween!
I dressed up as a Clown for my job. The kids got a kick out of my glasses. They all wanted to wear them.

Later that night we went to a party and dressed up as Thornton and Wonder Woman.
Who is Thornton you ask? Well, he's Thor's nerdy cousin of course. I have a silly husband. :)

Happy Birthday Matt!
Matt turned 27 this year. He is such an old man now. When Matt got home from work I had the ribs all prepared for him to BBQ. They were so so good! Then he opened a few presents. His main gift being his ski pass that he bought. Then his family came over for some birthday cake.
To continue his birthday celebration we went up to the cabin. We made homemade root beer again. We put tons of dry ice in it so it was slushy. We should have taken pictures sooner, because the fog was crazy!

We also did some cooking inside in the wood burning stove. We had a good relaxing weekend. We each did some reading. We took naps. We went on a walk. We chopped wood. It was a good time!
I learned how to chop fire wood. It's pretty fun and if you were ever angry it could definitely help you get over some of your frustrations.
I have been getting into decorating and doing crafts for Fall and Thanksgiving lately. I love this time of the year  and don't like how it gets skipped over by some people. Don't get me wrong I love Christmas too, but lets enjoy Thanksgiving first.

I'm also working on a cute wooden "Wahlquist." So here's my W.
Happy Birthday Flash!
Flash is now 2 years old, which could mean she is like 20 in our years or more. I'm not really sure how that works. They say so many different things on rabbit life expectancy. She could live either 3-5 years or 6-10 years... so I really don't know. Either way she is getting older, but she is still my cute little bunny rabbit! I got her an igloo cave for her birthday. I made her get in it for this picture. I don't think she really likes it, but maybe she will get used to it.
Matt found this dead tarantula outside the other day. I am grateful that Grandpa sprayed so this thing didn't make it inside alive. Gross!
More Snow! I'm sad fall is such a short season. At least snow is quite pretty!
