Christmas Bunny!

I got a cute bunny rabbit for Christmas. Matt surprised me with this cute guy Christmas morning. I was pretty sure I was getting a pet of some sort from his suspicious ways. I thought it was going to be a hamster though, but I'm sure glad it wasn't. I love my new bunny!

We named him flash because he is super fast!

Flash's eyes are really cool. If you look closely they are blue in the middle and brown on the outside.

We are trying to potty train him. He has learned to go potty on us and in his cage. So I guess that's good :) At least it's not on our carpet.

Oh and random here is my Short Hair! I was able to cut off 10 inches and donate it.

It's Harry Potter Time!

I know I'm a nerd, but I love Harry Potter, hence the awesome background. This will probably be up for a week or so, till I have seen the movie. Matt and I are going to the midnight showing this week!! I'm way excited! I wish it was one huge long 6 hour movie instead of 2 parts. I want to see it all, but it will be awesome I'm sure. Also I cut my hair today. It's short! Pictures will be posted eventually! :) That's all for now. Oh and I passed out giving plasma this past week...so I don't really recommend it, but that's just cause I'm scared now. So yeah. That's all of my little ramblings for now.

Halloween Time & Some

So I'm having troubles typing next to the pictures, but I will just give a quick recap of our Halloween. A few days before we carved pumpkins. Matt did the face one and I did the batman symbol. On Friday I dressed up as a Baby for work. On Saturday Matt and I dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2 and went to the USU basketball game. Then we went to a Corn Maze with my Brother and Sister in Law. Oh and we watched Harry Potter 2 (very scary). I also made scary cupcakes that taste real good.  Then last are some more pictures of Fall on another drive. Too bad it's snowed since then, oh well. Happy Halloween!

I love Fall!

Matt and I went on a drive today while listening to the end of the Afternoon session of General Conference. We drove up the canyon in Mantua. It was really quite pretty! I love love seeing all of the bright colored trees. It makes me happy! :) It was nice to get out of the house and enjoy the nice autumn air. We saw a moose and 3 deer. We saw a lake/pond. We saw lots and lots of trees and leaves. Such a Wonderful Day!

My favorite season is Fall/Autumn and everything that comes with it!

I really loved listening (thank you radio - we don't have TV) to General Conference today! My favorite talk in the morning session was probably Elder Dieter F.Uchtdorf's talk, which was about simplifying our lives by slowing down and focusing on the meaningful things in our lives. For me personally I don't think I need to exactly slow down, but doing more important things with my time. Don't get me wrong I do get busy sometimes and life gets crazy, but at this time of my life I almost find myself getting bored. So I need to do what Elder D. Todd Christofferson's talk said, I need to choose to use the time that I do have by doing the things that truly matter. All in all to sum it up I want to change and choose the more excellent way in life!! So what  Elder Richard G. Scott said " We become who we want to be, by being who we want to become." I really want to become a much, much better person than I am now. I don't feel that I am where I need to be, but I really loved what he said, I just need to be that person now. I am so grateful for General Conference to be able to hear words from our Prophets and Apostles. I'm also so HAPPY to belong to this Church and to know that I can change. I have the opportunity to change each and every week, day, hour, etc. (and so do you) I hope you all enjoy more conference tomorrow and the beauty that surrounds us during this time of the year!

dishes, Dishes, and MORE DISHES!!!

I know this is a pretty boring post, but I just had to show off my work and my sweet kitchen. ha I'm trying to become a better person, which for me includes doing the dishes EVERYDAY. First off I had to do the massive amount of dishes before I could do small amounts of dishes each day. So this process took me like 3 days. I had to do like 6 loads of dishes (BY HAND)!! So here are some pics of our puke green super dirty and semi-clean kitchen.

And I am proud to say for about 4 or 5 days in a row I did the dishes  before the day was up. They have piled up a little over the weekend, but not too bad. So happy dish doing to all! :)

So Long Sweet Summer...

A Re-Cap of Our Summer....

and to get us started here is a AWESOME pic of the 2 of us! Enjoy :) Oh and random side note Today is our 9 month Anniversary! I Heart You, Matthew Kim!

Saying Goodbye to our Ducklings.
I miss you, Splash and Alfred!!

We set them free at the Willow Park Zoo. Matt hopped the fenced in the middle of the night. I was basically asleep on the other side. Matt got stuck on the fence for awhile.Yikes! In the end our ducks were in a great place with a huge pond and many duck friends. We have gone to visit and saw them once, and revisited but couldn't find them.
I hope they are okay. :(

Hello Salamander. This was our new friend...Narnia.

There is quite a mysterious story with this guy and his 3 other friends. We originally got 4 salamanders from Matt's cabin. We left them out in a bucket and 2 disappeared. We figured a bird got to them. We went on another trip, left them in a bucket, but with a screen over it. We returned and only 1 was left. We figured he got out some how. But this this is the crazziest!! We have 1 salamander left. We leave yet again for a few days, but this time we leave him inside our house. We return and he is no where to be found. I don't think he could even climb out of the bowl. So did you steal our salamander???

OREGON FAMILY REUNION!!!

We went to Oregon with Matt's Family. We stayed in a sweet beach house that had a hot tub. We played in the water and made sand castles. We explored tons of tide pools and saw many star fish and crabs. We tried to boogie board, but it was freezing! We also got to stop by the beach that Matt proposed to me at. All and all it was Great!

Bear Lake

We spent the whole day at the lake. The water was way warm! Once we had too much sun we went and got some La Beaus. It was delicious! Such a great day at Bear Lake!

Backpacking to Red Castle Lake in the Unitas

This was my very first backpacking experience and I would have to say it was actually pretty fantastic. It did hurt a little bit, but it was way beautiful!! We saw tons of lakes and ponds. We saw a moose, and lots of other little critters. I had a bear smasher (aka a rock) just in case by my pillow. It was lots of fun and pretty darn long. We went 30 miles!!
