As soon as Autumn was born we moved up to Laketown and into this cute yellow house.
This town is quite quaint and quiet. I really do like it. The only thing that will ever keep you up at night are the baby cows being weened from their mom's.
They cry all night for a few days, it's quite something.
I had fun decorating her room. The walls were already turquoise! Her new room has a yellow wall, which is cute too. We will get to that one day.
We took Autumn to Bear Lake when she was only 5 days old. We wanted to give her a taste of the lake, so we tried dipping her toes in it.
We ended up dipping a little bit more than that. Oops!
We went on walks to the park and even brought Flash along for the ride. Flash would sit in the bottom basket of the stroller and actually stayed in it.
Daddy Daughter Time. I love seeing these two together. It really makes my heart so happy seeing these two snuggle, play, or do anything together really.
We went the Lake one more time before it started to get cold. I really do love the lake so much. This lake can be so many blues at one time. It's Beautiful!
Autumn's first Halloween. What a cute little ninja turtle! Although she wasn't old enough to go trick or treating we still had fun dressing up, and we did go to our neighbors house just for fun.
2 Months Old. I can't believe how little she once was. It's scary how fast time goes by.
Autumn was blessed by Matt on November 2nd. We had so much family support. I was so grateful that so many made the 2-3 hour journey to be with us.
It was such a great day!
Thanksgiving Day.
3 Months Old. She absolutely loved and still loves water.
Bath time is always a hit at our house.
Sometimes I forget how little hair she used to have.
It's kind of strange to see this bald baby of mine.
Autumn's First Christmas!
We had a wonderful time with both of our families and with our little one.
The last few month of 2014 were an adventure for us. Having a baby definitely changes everything. Just having it be us for 4 years, made it a little bit harder to adjust to the schedule and life of a baby and not our own. I'm not going to lie it was a bit difficult living in a new town not knowing anyone with my first baby. I think even harder since it's such a small town and I didn't have a car. Not a lot to do besides walk to the park or post office. We have to drive an hour to Logan to do our grocery shopping. It's been an adjustment, but things have gotten better and it sure makes it easier now that Autumn is bigger and more interactive. I'm glad we moved here though. Matt's job has really been a great blessing in our lives. I can't explain how grateful I am to be able to stay home with my little girl. We are in no way rich, but we have enough and that's all that matters. We were also really lucky to get such an easy baby. Autumn started sleeping through the night when she was only a few weeks old (don't worry I don't have an easy toddler ha). She never spit up and she didn't really need to be burped. She was a happy and content baby. One of her favorite things was just to lay on a blanket and tell us her stories (in her own way). She made the whole mom thing a piece of cake fore the most part.
P.S. Our friends came up for new year's eve. We played solar quest and did fireworks at midnight. Thank you Evanston for the cheap fireworks. I also recommend trying out a roman candle if you haven't already. They are a blast!
