Christmas 2015

We cut down our own Christmas Tree this year!
We thought we found a good tree from a distance, but when Matt got up to it, it was a bit taller than we expected. We looked around a bit more, but it was getting dark. So we cut down the tall tree and brought it home. Once home we realized it was a lot taller than we thought. We had to basically cut it in half to get it to fit in our living room. It turned out pretty good it was a little lopsided, but I liked it!

I had fun making Autumn a felt tree that she could decorate and un-decorate over and over. It didn't work out quite the way I thought, but she still seemed to enjoy it. It's meant to be hung up, which I tried to do, but she would rip it down, no matter what I used. So instead she played with it on the floor and when she was done decorating she would just pick it up and shake it off.

A little before Christmas we received this giant gift bag full of Christmas goodies and presents. We don't know who left it for us, but we were very thankful for it. There were toys and clothes for Autumn, a few things for us, and some yummy treats. Thanks again to our Secret Santa!
We celebrated Christmas Eve and day with the Wahlquist's this year.
We always have a great time with our family!

Autumn had a ton of gifts to open. It was hard to get her to stop playing with what she had just opened to open something else. We finally got through them all it just took awhile. She got a doll, stroller, and cradle from her Grandma and Grandpa Wahlquist. She also got a horse stuffed animal, small basketball, play food/dishes, and a few other things.

Matt got giant Lord of the Rings books that have some awesome illustrations. I got a piano keyboard so I can practice my easy easy hymns and for Autumn to mess around on.

This is uncle Ryan's guinea pig Checkers. Autumn really liked feeding him.

After we spent a few days with the Wahlquist 's we went down to visit the Bushnell's. We had a dinner together, played a few Christmas songs with chimes, and opened up a few more presents. Autumn got mega blocks and a fun musical popping ball toy.

Playing the Harry Potter jelly bean game. Yummy or Yucky?
Autumn had fun pushing her cousin Claire around. :)
We had a great Christmas!
